Official Repairs and Refurbisher
The official ALPS repair agent and refurbisher is Elephant's Rocket in Japan, whom we partner with to deliver services worldwide. The repair agent can service, repair and refurbish printers to the same standard as ALPS used to do. They have access to all the necessary calibration software, specification documents and experience required to process and calibrate ALPS printers.
Like ourselves, the agent also sells refurbished printers, inks, media and accessories, The service is excellent, although overseas shipping is not cheap.
Together with a developer in the USA we have released a 64-bit Windows utility, as announced on the Elephant's Rocket site.
Elephant's Rocket can include a driver CD with the printers they ship overseas. The v.2.3.2 driver on that CD is the one that is also availble via the Groups.io ALPS group, and was supplied by ourselves as part of our partnership.
To anyone wishing to make use of the services of Elephant's Rocket, they are completely trustworthy and capable.

Groups.io ALPS Group
The best publicly available source of help and information regarding ALPS printers is the moderated ALPS group on Groups.io Membership is required to view the resources, and encouraged for participation. Note the rules about personal identification: no handles or anonymous posting permitted.
Among the resources is a Files section with subsections containing everything from drivers and manuals to sample printouts, trouble-shooting procedures, printer and ink specifications, photos demonstrating issues and solutions, not to mention the huge archive of collected knowledge in the archived threads. Some of these resources are directly available from our site.
A list of current reliable overseas ALPS service shops (not affiliated with ALPS) is also part of the resources, and list members may also offer their services on occasion.
